If a public (e.g. Google) or customer-provided identity provider (IdP) is used for login, the user is forwarded to the IdP. The IdP then provides Knowledgeworker with certain data that must be processed and stored in order to perform authentication, e.g. user name, first and last name, email address, roles, authorizations.
Once you create an account within our Application, use our contact form or post comments, the data you have provided yourself will be stored by us. If you generate a profile within the Application, we also store the information saved within that profile (e.g. email address, username, phone number, photos, etc.). We will not transfer this data without your permission.
If the Application has a comments and/or feature the following conditions apply: In addition to your comment, the time stamp when the comment was created and your username, unless you have chosen an anonymous username will be stored for the comments feature of this Application.
As Application user you will receive notifications following an interaction (e.g. posting content, commenting, liking) of how users have further interacted with your content.

All servers on which data of Knowledgeworker users are processed are located in the European Economic Area. Extensive technical and organizational measures as well as additional security measures in the context of hosting at Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL ensure a data protection compliant processing of your data.
To process your support requests we use the Freshdesk system. The provider is Freshworks, Inc, 2950 S.Delaware Street, Suite 201 in San Mateo, CA 94403 USA.
We use Freshdesk to process your requests quickly and efficiently. The legal basis for processing your data is the legitimate interest based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.
We have concluded an order processing agreement with Freshdesk. This ensures that Freshdesk only uses the user data to process the requests within the framework of the applicable European and German data protection standards and does not pass them on to third parties.
The data entered by you in the contact form or transmitted by e-mail will remain with us until you request us to delete it or until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your inquiry has been completed). You have the option to integrate your Big Blue Button Server account with Knowledgeworker Share to start video conferences directly from Knowledgeworker Share. This Application uses Google Firebase. Provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Firebase is required for individual functionalities of the mobile Application and cannot be replaced sensibly according to the current state of technology. Google Firebase is used to enable cloud messaging (delivery of notifications from the Application to mobile devices).

If you're logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Our Application uses features provided by the Vimeo video portal. This service is provided by Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
If you visit one of our pages featuring a Vimeo plugin, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. Here the Vimeo server is informed about which of our pages you have visited.
